Brenda Epperson Joins Idle Tuesdays Board of Directors

Welcome to the Board of Directors Brenda Epperson!

Since we opened our studio doors last April, we have been on an adventure! Those of you who have started your own business, or helped create something from nothing, will understand. The effort it takes to get something off of the ground, and out of the idea phase, is tremendous. It is not a task for the weary, and it is certainly not something to be done alone.

We have been tremendously fortunate to have a strong, motivated, and wise founding Board that has helped us not only get off the ground, but fly. Last year, we launched our flagship Program Artist, Amy Krebs, and have not looked back. We recorded a 3-song EP, released it in May 2013 at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, and then booked interviews, gigs, etc. It was amazing.

Looking off into the distance, planning for our 2014 Program Artist, we wanted to do something that would help us reach even more Los Angeles artists. We wanted a fierce do-gooder; somebody who’s solid, wise and no stranger to the entertainment industry.

Brenda Epperson was exactly what we were looking for.

Brenda’s pop was a country singer, so singing is in her blood. She’s been singing since she was a kid. She has even performed for the King of Thailand. She was later signed by a big label and toured with Lionel Richie. She’s now publishing her own music.

In addition to her ability to sing (and act, and host, and be an awesome wife, and an amazing Mom…), Brenda is unstoppable when it comes to doing good. It’s who she is. It’s in her blood. One night she’ll be fighting human trafficking, and the next night she’ll be saving gray wolves. She’s half Energizer bunny, and half Mel Gibson in Braveheart.

This next year is going to be another adventure. More music. More memories. More people. More good. We’re anticipating big things for our 2014 Program Artist and we’re honored to have Brenda Epperson on our team to help make one artist’s dream come true.
